What to say about this self-guided tour? You cannot miss it! Exploring the Kailua Beach area is fantastic in itself, but to have your own kayak out on the water is something else entirely. We went out to the Mokulua Islands where you can see shearwater birds in their nests and visit the large Mokulua island. You will want to be aware of the rough waters and high winds if the weather looks like it is turning foul-you may even get a light rain on the trip. Be prepared with plenty of sunscreen and water as this is a physically intense activity and there is no exposure protection from the sun. Unforgettable experience, would pay the prices again in a heartbeat. If you want to kayak to the Mokuluas, you will need to have a better than average level of experience with your kayak.

I had a great experience! Emi explained the route in detail and we also enjoyed talking about Japan. Tomo-san also pulled my kayak on the beach so I could safely go to the island!
