After departing the Phoenix metro area, our tour travels through the expansive Sonoran Desert filled with the native saguaro cactus. The scenery begins to change as we increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As we continue further into Northern Arizona, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, the largest contiguous forest of ponderosa pines in the world.

Williams will be our first stop along the tour for a chance to experience Route 66, the iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition. While in Williams, guests will have the opportunity to “get their kicks on Route 66” with walks along the original route, explore the local shops and capture souvenir photos highlighting a bygone era in classic American history. Also known as the Will Rodgers Highway, Route 66 is the most recognizable road in the United States and stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to California upon completion.

Did the Grand Canyon day tour with our four grandchildren . Best day, our driver/tour guide, Ronnie Lee couldn’t have been better. Very friendly and knowledgeable and a great singer. Will definitely recommend Dtours to anyone we know.

This was such an excellent tour and I definitely would recommend it. My friends and I decided to book this tour because we were staying in Phoenix, Arizona for a few days for spring break. We had no way of getting there by ourselves so we thought we would give this a chance since they pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Grand Canyon. So if you are staying around the Phoenix area and do not have a car to drive over to the grand canyon yourself then this is a great option to look into. At first we were a bit hesitant about booking this trip because we are 21 years old and thought that we would get stuck with a bunch of older individuals and would be bored to death but that was not the case at all. Our driver/tour guide was Dan the Man (who drives the van) and he was awesome. He made the entire trip so enjoyable from the start to the finish. He cracked jokes throughout the trips and had plentiful interesting facts and kept the trip alive. There was never a dull moment. There were plenty of stops to shop in and plenty of spots to take lovely pictures. The lunch was also great. For lunch you get to pick what you want from a menu and I felt that it catered to everyones needs.

Our party of three took this tour and had the best of our times from Phoenix to Oak Creek and then to Sedona and then the grandeur that is Grand Canyon. Our tour guide Dan kept explaining to us about the various landscapes and the ecosystems which were very informative. My favorite part was when he would play songs of each place and highways whenever we are passing that area. It was absolute fun. Our group had people from age groups and all of us found it very interesting, thanks to Dan's commentary and occasional jokes :D Overall I felt the tour was very well organized and we could cover more places than we would if we were to go on our own. I would definitely consider this again and am super happy that it exists!
