The scenery begins to change as we increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As we continue further into Northern Arizona, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, the largest contiguous forest of ponderosa pines in the world.

Williams will be our first stop along the tour for a chance to experience Route 66, the iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition. While in Williams, guests will have the opportunity to “get their kicks on Route 66” with walks along the original route, explore the local shops and capture souvenir photos highlighting a bygone era in classic American history. Also known as the Will Rodgers Highway, Route 66 is the most recognizable road in the United States and stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to California upon completion.

All the amazing views of the canyon, it was cloudy but the pictures came out great! Also the ride there was good, you could see how the landscape change as we drove up; seeing all cactus and dryness to the green of the canyon

This day trip to Grand Canyon was excellent, in large part because of our wonderful tour guide, Jennifer. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, a safe driver, and she kept us moving along and on-time in a very diplomatic way. She was constantly recommending options and next steps, pointing out surroundings and it was great to have someone to guide us through these details as we had several out-of-state guests in our group. It started raining and we were worried that we had no umbrellas, but Jennifer was prepared with a stash of them! We learned that masks would be required inside the shops and realized some people hadn't brought them, and of course, Jennifer pulled out of box of disposables! :) There was a momentary torrential downpour on the way home and she got us safely and securely back to Phoenix. We were able to enjoy each other without worrying about the logistics and driving. I would recommend this tour and this tour guide a million times over!

We had one day in Arizona and wanted to see the Grand Canyon so after much research we booked this tour thinking it was the best way to not only see the Grand Canyon, but to see as much of AZ as we could. Stopping at Williams on the way was such a treat and we spent a good amount of time there to really see the town. Our guide was Mark and he was full of wonderful stories and facts for the drive up to the canyon. He got a feel for the group instantly and accomodated all our needs. We had plenty of opportunity to stop and grab snacks, he let us know what was ahead so we could make better decisions at the time. The Grand Canyon itself was breathtaking and Mark drove us to different locations to get different views. The weather turned on it's head a few times, and Mark was able to make quick decisions to allow us the best possible experience. On the way home we encountered quite a severe storm and Mark made sure everyone felt safe with his driving skills. We knew our day would be good, but Mark really made it. The bus was super comfortable and all the small details were thought of. We were very impressed all round. Thank you
