The scenery begins to change as we increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As we continue further into Northern Arizona, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, the largest contiguous forest of ponderosa pines in the world.

Williams will be our first stop along the tour for a chance to experience Route 66, the iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition. While in Williams, guests will have the opportunity to “get their kicks on Route 66” with walks along the original route, explore the local shops and capture souvenir photos highlighting a bygone era in classic American history. Also known as the Will Rodgers Highway, Route 66 is the most recognizable road in the United States and stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to California upon completion.

Great trip and wonderful information shared by our driver/guide, Bruce. Enjoyed a stop in Williams before seeing the Grand Canyon. He took time to get us to some nice locations and share some history along the way. Highly recommend this trip!

Grand Canyon was amazing! Tour guide was great and very accommodating. Tbh, would’ve preferred to drive there myself because we stopped a lot and spent over an hour picking up and dropping off other participants, so the day was very long. In addition, meals aren’t provided, or at least a voucher for one meal should’ve been provided.

Hello and we are glad you loved the Grand Canyon and your tour guide. We would like to mention that there were only 3 picks total on this trip (you being the first) and the following two hotel pick ups were en route north through Phoenix heading towards the direction of the Grand Canyon. Please be aware that when you book public group tours that include pick up/drop off, there will be stops along the way but again, we always have our routes heading in the direction of the main destination. We do hope you got some great photos and enjoyed the rest of your time in AZ. Thanks, Rachel Bass

Well I must say it was an AMAZING experience and a sight to see. I was celebrating my 50th bday and was not disappointed at all. Diane was a great tour guide that was fun and shared so much information. A fun filled day that ended perfectly when the snow fell while were leaving The Grand Canyon!!!
