Как и в наших обычных турах, вы можете плавать рядом с ламантинами еще дольше. Только 6 человек на судно обеспечивают более личный опыт. My husband and I plus out two teen boys had such an amazing time with guide Henry and boat captain Christian on our morning of swimming with the manatees! This truly was a once in a lifetime dream of mine. Everything we needed (including amazingly wonderful hot chocolate after we got out of the water) was provided on this tour. The process of equipping and educating us all to swim with these gentle water giants was handled seamlessly. It was such a surreal experience getting to be so up close and personal with groups of manatees - some were very curious and would come right up to you as you passively float in the water. I was nervous at first but easily began to relax. Henry, our guide, did an outstanding job of leading and instructing us. We even got to go to Catfish Spring after our lengthy swim with the manatees and see a ton of beautiful fish. So in summary, I would highly recommend Plantation Adventure Manatee Tours. It was life changing!!

The trip before ours saw one manatee. We were hopeful we would see a few more. Our 95 year old non-swimming Mom donned her wet suit, put on her snorkel and got into the water. See loves animals of all kinds and watches nature shows, but she never thought she would be a part of one! There were 4 of us with her along with Captain and Diver/photographer. We have photos of us and manatees. We moved from place to place via pontoon and swam within a large area. They estimated maybe 40 manatees in a very large bay when we were there in late February. Prime time for seeing them is November-January when the estimates are as high as 400! All that said, we still saw several manatees and even caught a glimpse of a baby nursing. So many people trying to see the same few manatees made the photos murky but viewable. You can purchase them for about $42 on a flash drive that looks like a manatee, which we did. Captain Ross Files and Diver Tim Miller were excellent in spotting animals for us and guiding us to them. We were on a semi-private tour with 5 of our family members aboard. What a wonderful experience....HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Request Ross and Tim and tip them well for an excellent experience as we did!
