For my 60th birthday, I gathered some friends to celebrate this feat, by going on a trip to Napa. Their rewards were: 1) Spending time with me 🤗 and 2) A wine tasting trip with Platypus tours Chris was our guide. We toured 4 smaller family owned wineries, which allowed for a more personal encounter for our group. Tasting the grapes, having a chocolate accompaniment, and eating a prepared lunch at one of the wineries gave us time to put something else in our stomachs, besides just wine! 🤪 Our bus was air conditioned and comfortable. Chris made sure we listened to our favorite tunes while on the road. Another nice touch was the tour provided boxes and organized the wine purchases we made at the various wineries. *Caution* A full box of 12 bottles gets a bit heavy!! Luckily, SW Airlines allows a box of wine as the 2nd form of baggage when checking in, so there is no shipping fee if you are flying on SW. Platypus tours not only met, but also exceeded my expectations for my birthday wine tour. Thank you, Chris!

Our guide Chris was great. We visited some small family owned wineries that we wouldn't have normally found on our own and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Man, Chris can do no wrong...guests rave about his tours all the time! He's been touring with us for serveral years, and he has built up so much goodwill with the wineries that they will bend over backwards for him and his guests. We chose this tour as it had excellent reviews which did not disappoint. We visited 4 different wineries and Rob our driver was an excellent host. We had a fun day out with lots of fun and singalong music all the way which was great. Food was just right and they even bought birthday cake for my daughter whose birthday it was that day.
