A qualified instructor will meet you at beach access #16, located at 4400 Gulf Blvd., South Padre Island, Texas. There you will learn a series of techniques for building and carving a better sandcastle. This is hands-on instruction, and in 1 hour you will have a completed (or mostly completed) sand castle, perfect for a family photo op.

This was one of those experiences you may be on the fence about, but let me reassure you, do it! Jose was great and patient with my 11 y/o, his friend, and our 13 y/o. There's a sense of satisfaction that comes from building something yourself.. The class was well organized, and the time flew by. With creativity and the foundation skills we learned, the possibilities are endless.

My family LOVED the sandcastle building lesson! Lucinda has a wealth of knowledge and experience; in addition to being a wonderful teacher! We took the 1.5 hr lesson and learned so much! We amazed ourselves with what we could do after just one lesson! We would highly recommend this experience while on SPI!

We booked after my 16 year old came across an advert on social media and did not regret it! The tools were all provided, our teacher was fabulous and so patient. - every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the hour we spent sculpting and we were all proud of the fruits of our labour! The kids asked if we can go and buy supplies to take to the beach tomorrow and have a go for ourselves! Highly recommend this activity!
