This past weekend, my girlfriends and I took the Italian Market walking tour with Chuck. He was informative and highly sensitive to our needs (time to shop, rest or use the restrooms) He wanted it to be our experience with him to guide us to the best spots in the market. We sampled, cheese, Gilato, meatballs, Italian bread and balsamic vinegar. He gave us recommendations of things to see and do after the trip such as the Comcast building and the Basilica. The Mosaic museum was an add on to the walking tour and a big treat. I would recommend Urban Adventures Walking Tours.

It was a pleasure to take the tour with Chuck. He did things at a pace that was good for all of us in the group. Obviously he is very experienced in this area of the city and his insight made it a very enjoyable morning. My family had a great time and I would certainly recommend the tour if the Market and local flair is what you wish to experience. Don

This was a small group tour my husband and I did in June, 2017. The guide was awesome--easy-going, helpful and very familiar with the area and its offerings. We tried several yummy snacks as we learned about the history of the South Philly and the market. The Magic Gardens were very unusual. Though not to my artistic tastes, you had to admire the ingenuity. The artist had done a lot to improve the South Philly neighborhood which also garnered my admiration. Highly recommend.
