This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Overall, learned cool things about St. Augustine but the story telling was extremely boring. Our tour guide was stuck to a script and didn’t try to make it interesting.

Sarah. While we’re always open to constructive criticism, your thoughts seem contradictory and inaccurate, so we’ll help you out. If you learned cool things about St Augustine, that’s great! It sounds like we certainly did our job. See, the entire objective of A Ghostly Encounter is to share “cool things” about our town, both historical as well as paranormal. If you didn’t like the story telling, that’s ok. The art of quality storytelling isn’t recognized by everyone. However, each of our guides works diligently to research and formulate their own tour, so there isn’t a script. Also, I doubt your guide set their intentions on trying to bore you. We love our guests and entertainment is our business! It’s unfortunate you weren’t willing to give your guide a slightly better review; one star reviews should be reserved for tours that were truly problematic or fraudulent; we weren’t. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in town.
