This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

My son and I recently visited St. Augustine. Even though we are both Florida natives and have been to St. Augustine numerous times, this was the first time doing the Ghost Encounters Walking Tour. It was awesome!! The "Sheriff" was our guide. The historical aspect was amazing. I heard stories about St. Augustine I never knew before. A few places were a bit "unsettling", in other words, the two cemeteries. In fact, I even got a photo, which looked a bit paranormal!I highly recommend this tour at night! Check out the photo at the cemetery. Even though the pic is blurry, look in the lower left. Do you see anything? This was the gravesite of a 5 year old boy who fell to his death from a tree in the cemetery!

Stories disconnected, pretending to be historic but sound artificial and boring. The characterization was nice and the presenter articulated very well.

Our guides work diligently to relay St. Augustine’s ghostly stories. We regret that you were disappointed, but would like to clarify that our tours are grounded in factual history and intertwined with documented paranormal encounters from both the past and present. Manuel did a great job telling stories and history of each location we visited. He had actual pictures of historic events as well as actual photos of apparitions - some even taken by others on this tour previously. Very fun tour with great locations. Not too scary for kids either. The only opportunity I saw was for maybe stop at more locations and a little less time in each location. Overall great job!
