Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Jenn, our tour guide was absolutely amazing!!! The weather was not great however; she was literally the best and never ever made us feel rushed, told amazing stories and I would 100% recommend this to anyone!

We are a family with tweens and had a great tour experience with Hippie. Loved the all the ghost stories intertwined with St. Augustine history, the breakdown of different types of ghosts, and Hippie was entertaining, informative, and knowledgeable. All of this was in the twilight walking with the backdrop of the castle and old streets was almost magical. Definitely recommend!

Hippie never disappoints, but we are extra excited when our guides are recognized for engaging with guests of all ages. Tweens aren’t easily impressed, but Hippie is captivating and knows exactly how to give the best of tours.
