Wind down and relax as our captain and crewmates teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people, and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Depending on the weather, please bring rain gear/sweaters and non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

The crew was outstanding - very attentive and knowledgeable. The boat was clean and comfortable. There is ample space to move around for the best views. Our food for the sunset sail was delicious, and the drinks were on point. This small, family run business is doing it right! Five stars isn’t enough.

Excellent experience, pleasant evening and we learned a lot about this beautiful schooner, amazingly comfortable . Crew was very enthusiastic and new what they were doing! Highly recommend!

Lovely sail boat and crew Dan and John were knowledgeable. The food was a total disappointment (not even close to a gourmet meal). They definitely could have used.another crew member to look after the guest. The Bay was beautiful to see from the water. All in all nice but over priced.

Barbara, I am sorry that you did not enjoy the food from Artisan at the Delamar. The meal is prepared by an executive chef at the award winning resort where Wind Dancer operates. Keep in mind you're on a sailboat and not in a fine dining restaurant at a table. Our promise is to create beautiful memories and we are so happy that you found the sailing and scenery as beautiful as we do. We don't have customers, we have friends. Thank you
