Everything was very well done! Performers/guides were very nice, knowledgeable, and talented. Would definately recommend to get an overview of the city and history.

The ride was very bumpy. I think we hit the curb on at least four sidewalks. I did not expect an overly theatrical experience with people in period costumes. I expected a tour of the city with historical facts tossed in. Instead I feel we went around the same few blocks over and over. I did not come away with more things I wanted to see in the city, restaurant recommendations, or anything I couldn’t have read in five minutes online. I was not impressed that we stopped at a church while a wedding was being held and people in the tour were taking pictures when it was clearly posted that an event was in progress and not to take pictures or sightsee during the event. We were alert guided behind a roped off area at the capital building that was being set up for an event. I feel both of these transgressions were quite rude.

Thank you for sharing your comments on the Trolley Tour. It sounds like our Salt Lake City Bus Tour would've been exactly the traditional sightseeing bus tour experience you were hoping for. The name of the experience you reserved is the "Trolley Adventure: a Show-Tour of Salt Lake City" and in the description it's clearly said to be a unique experience that combines theatrical entertainment with sightseeing tour elements, where professional actors in costume will entertain with stories, music and more. This unique experience is quite popular. Even those who don't typically seek out sightseeing bus tours do find this to be a particularly appealing and fun experience. Though many do still prefer the regular sightseeing bus tour experience, which we're also very pleased to offer. That tour is titled the "Salt Lake City Bus Tour." It's unfortunate that before you made your reservation you didn't take a minute to read the product description of what you were signing up for, or view any of the tour photos that show the costumed actors you mentioned you were surprised to find, or even take note of the title of the experience itself as a "Show-Tour" of Salt Lake City. We try to communicate the details of the experiences as clearly as possible, through those product title names, and the detailed tour descriptions, and the many photos of what you'll encounter on each experience. We encourage you in the future, before booking a tour experience, to first take a few minutes to read the descriptions, view the photos, and take note of the title or name of the products or services that you are purchasing.
