Take a break from the glitz of Las Vegas and escape to the gorgeous natural scenery in Valley of Fire State Park with this morning or afternoon hiking tour. Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. This small-group tour is limited to 13 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide.

The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.
If you would like to guarantee the tour's departure (if you are a single passenger booking) there is a $35 fee payable on the date of travel, this will make the tour non-refundable.
Traditionally, animals are not allowed on these experiences but an exception can be made if you book a private tour.

What a great break from the hustle and crowds of the strip. In less than an hour from the strip you can be delivered from your hotel to great hiking where you will experience petroglyphs throughout your hike through the beautiful red rocks which will add bot beauty and a challenge to your hike. Our guide/driver, Sarah, is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast. Sarah is committed to educate and entertain her group. Sadly other hikers have tried to draw on the rocks which Sarah tried to remedy with a squirt of her water bottle. The hike was adapted to the level of the groups fitness and climbing ability. We selected the intermediate level hike which was a challenge but doable for our middle aged group of hikers. With the exception of Sarah's fandom for her Wolverines she made this hike a special trip for a couple of Buckeyes.

We had so much fun!! This was a couples trip without kids but this is easily done with teens. Our guide was incredible. She was very knowledgeable and patient with the less experienced in our group (i.e. me). I’m not sure if kids under ten could do this but every kid is different! Highly recommend!
