I cannot say enough about this company. We booked via a third party website. 2 days prior I emailed the company to confirm and to let them know that I planned on proposing to my girlfriend during the hike. Jake, one of the owners, called me back immediately and went over all the options to make this day even more special. We ended up booking a private hike and had Antonio as our guide. Antonio was awesome and made the trip so much fun. He was in on the proposal too and took so many awesome pictures during the hike and even filmed the proposal (prior to the hike, the gf went in to grab a drink and we had a quick discussion about the plan. He told me he’d let me know when we were at the best spot). She was totally oblivious to what was happening as we rock scrambled to the peak. And he filmed the whole thing as she was taking in the sites and turns around to see me on my knee. Awesome company. Awesome guides. Definitely recommend this to everyone to get away from the strip and enjoy the scenic views right outside Vegas. Thanks guys!

I like to get out of the city and explore the desert any time I go to Las Vegas, this time I booked an afternoon hike for a moderate level. The day turned out to be in the triple digits, go figure in Nevada in August! Love Hikes called and asked if we would be interested in a more appropriate easy hike for the day or if we wanted to reschedule. A this was one of the things I was most looking forward to on the trip we decided to go with the easy hike and it was wonderful! Our guide, Ben, picked us up on time, introduced himself and offered complimentary beverages and snacks. Enroute to the Valley of Fire we stopped at a small store to use the restroom and pick up any items we may want for the hike, Due to the heat, Ben asked if there were any specific sites we wanted to see, we named a few and were able to drive to those sites and additional sites inside the park and we could do some walking if we felt up for it. Side note, the person I was travelling with wasn't handling the heat very well and stayed in the vehicle for most of the tour, however it didn't dampen my experience as we still stopped and saw amazing landscapes, pictographs and indigenous animals. Ben was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating, personalizing the tour according to our needs and interests. We were the only two people on this tour and it was such a fantastic experience, I highly recommend it.
