This tour was generally okay but a bit below my expectations. Firstly, the tour information given states that departure will be at 5AM and that all participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time. I went through great lengths to ensure that I got to the departure point in good time- it's not easy getting around before 5 AM when places are closed and streets are deserted. However, after all the effort, the tour bus ended up being almost an hour late! When it finally arrived, there was no form of apology or information given. No one said anything a coach just pulled up in front of the meeting point and everyone waiting proceeded to get on board, some asking if this the tour going to DC. So we got on the coach, one person checked our tickets, got down, and the drive started. Throughout the drive, again no instructions were given, no information on what to expect or what the day will involve. We just sat in silence. After an hour, the coach made a stop and yet again, no information given. We had to ask what the stop was for and for how long. I found this really annoying that no information was voluntarily given. We finally arrived in DC after several hours and the tour guide got on board. He gave us a bit of a summary of the day ahead. Now even though at the point of booking, I indicated that I wanted an English tour, all English and Spanish speakers were on the same tour and the tour guide spoke both in English and Spanish- so he would say something in English and immediately say it in Spanish. It was really quite annoying and confusing at times for me. Apart from that, the general tour in DC was nice and I was glad that we were given a few minutes to explore each site. I do wish there was time to stop to purchase souvenirs but I understand that there are sooo many things to see in DC and it's hard to cram it all into one day. Overall, the tour guide did his best and was what made me enjoy the trip despite the organisation and lack of information. I also wish we had been told when we were to expect to return to New York. Overall, it was a fairly good tour and there was wifi on the coach which was a plus.

Took this trip on 23rd March 2018 and would recommend. The tour guide Yuta was absolutely full of knowledge we saw everything that was advertised. Although it is a very long day if you are time poor and want to see the Capitol this is the way to.
