Our tour guide Bill picked our party of 3 up at the Holiday Inn Resort. Bill's knowledge of local history and lore was amazing. On the day of our tour the fog was quite thick for about the first hour, but Bill had a digital notebook with beautiful pictures that assisted us with what the fog covered. My wife and I had been to Bar Harbor, in July of 1976 on our Honey Moon, and Bill expertly explained to us many of the changes that occurred to the Park and surrounding area since he took up residence in Bass Harbor quite some years ago. I am disabled with a Neuromuscular disease and Bill was very accommodating with my Electric Wheelchair (60LBS) which he placed in the cargo area of the van. My advice to anyone is that you should TAKE THIS EXCELLENT TOUR and if your lucky you may get Bill as your guide.
