Our tour guide, Bonnie, was horrible! She couldn't keep track of how many was in the tour group and always leaving everyone behind. She seemed not to like the couple from Columbia, in fact almost leaving them on the island I went and got them so they weren't left behind. Most of the group was done after Ellis Island except for my group of 3 was to continue on to 911 Memorial and Wall Street. She offered to let everyone else to come on the continued tour with us, which would've been fine if they had paid for it like we did, but they didn't pay for it. On liberty island, it was supposed to be one half of the group go up the elevator first, then the second group was to go up, and Bonnie went up with the 1st group. Well, the second group got split up on the elevator because of a lady in a wheelchair, which was fine. My wife, daughter, and I was the last ones in the group to get up in the pedestal, and when we got up there, Bonnie says it's time to go back down as we just got up there We had only 10 minutes of time from when she got up there. Needless to say I said we had just gotten up there and we were gonna take time to go out on the pedestal. She wouldn't even let us take a 20 minute lunch break and wouldn't let us look at the souvenir shop on Liberty Island saying Ellis Island had the same souvenirs which they didn't, the shirt my wife really wanted wasn't there. Our tour of the 911 Memorial was only at best 10 minutes long and we didn't get any part of the Wall Street tour. At times during the tour, she couldn't remember what she was going to talk about. Bonnie was a horrible tour guide! The day before, we had the best tour guide Jenn. Ask for Jenn for your tours!
