They would not make an exception for COVID. I booked a tour for our family of five, and my son contracted COVID while we were on vacation. Of course all of us did the responsible thing and quarantined right away, to keep from spreading it. I provided more than 48 hours notice to them, but when I reached out to them to request a refund, they flatly said no. I’m surprised that a company would not make an exception to their policy for a family trying to do their part to mitigate a public health crisis. We were, in a sense, punished for doing the right thing in the face of circumstances beyond our control. I would think twice before booking with this company.
