The fishing on the bay is great fishing, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Whiting, and many others, including Red Fish. Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Customers can also bring their own gear if they desire, but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it.

All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License. You can easily purchase a fishing license online by going to Texas Parks and Wildlife website and Fishing License

We were running late trying to locating this place but they were super accommodating! We all learned to fish very quickly! The crew was very killed and knowledgeable! We also were not prepared with drinks and the crew offer their own water which was sweet and thoughtful. Thank you!

These three guys were amazing and did an awesome job making sure everyone had a great time. If we ever return we want them to take us deep sea fishing. I would highly recommend!

Great first experience fishing, not too lucky but fine. Fishing requires patience and we didn't have much. Enough place for everybody in the boat.
