We decided to do the tour of Chicago on New Year's Day, as it was the only clear day of our trip. We verified on their website that tours would run "as normal" for the holiday. So we show up at the stop near our hotel about 20 minutes early for a 9:02 arrival. 9:02 comes and goes, with no bus. We wait 15 minutes past the time. Tried to call, no answer. Had to leave a message. 25 minutes past the time (and it's freezing out there folks) we finally get someone to answer the phone. Oh, sorry. The first pick up won't be till 11 because of the holiday. Which is fine, IF it was stated on their website. Her response was sorry, I guess they didn't update the website.
That kind of messed up our timeline of the whole day. We had planned the bus to deliver us to several locations. We had to take a regular bus instead. The part of the tour we did get to enjoy was good. Lance was a fabulous guide. But the bad communication and waiting for over 40 minutes in the Chicago cold soured our day.

We're happy to hear you did enjoy your time with Lance. There are times when circumstances change suddenly, such as the night before, and updates to the website won't appear as timely as we'd like.
