This five-and-a-half-hour tour is a MUST for those touring Boston. Regardless of age and demographic, or whether one has previously visited Boston, the Food to Freedom Trail Walking Tour will be a highlight of your visit.
First off, the selections of food are spot on. A range of food and drink stops provide participants with a small taste of the different cultures that are prominent in Boston. The quantity of the food stops is ideal as well - I was not left overfull, bloated or concerned that the time spent eating was detracting from time spent learning; at the same time, there were plenty of stops, all of which provided participants with an authentic food tour experience.
Our tour guide, Bob, was highly knowledgeable and entertaining. He was unlike any other guide I have ever had - only for good reasons. Bob's tour provided historical and contemporary insight into both Boston and the USA. No questions were left unanswered.
The Food to Freedom Trail Walking Tour in Boston was THE highlight of my trip, and is highly recommended to all those wishing to visit Boston's main sites and attractions. This tour provides a fantastic window into America's history in a way that a standard city tour cannot.
