We live in Oahu and have made it our mission to find the best luau on the island by taking visiting family and friends to a different one with each visit to determine which one is the best. A very interactive luau. Guests are greeted with a lei welcome. We skipped the overpriced posed photo. The mai tais were tasty, shame you only get 2 for free. The luau grounds are a big tight and the tables and chairs were rather cheap plastic but there were some cool Polynesian vendors nearby which was cool. Other than a fire making and weaving activity, there wasn’t much to do before dinner. The food was top notch. Plenty of variety and very tasty. The show and the staff is where this luau really shines. The musicians, dancers, MC’s are all top notch. They were very funny, engaging and showcased a great variety of Polynesian cultures, words and dance. The chief is definitely Samoan and you can tell there is a strong sense of Samoan culture that permeates through the performance.
