I had no idea what to expect from Color Factory. A 16 year old asked that we go here, so we did. We didn't know that tickets had to be purchased on-line and in advance, and we were nicely turned away. Thanks to smart phones, we got tickets for the next day. Turns out tickets are good because they have time slots for the guests which keeps everyone from jamming up at the stations. The staff were very friendly and nice, selected well for their high energy and helpfulness. The stations were fun for the teenagers, they were entertaining for the adults. The picture taking system was good because you didn't have to take pics with your phone. They were in my email before we left the building. Overall we left happy. So I guess that says it all. Good fun for the teenagers in your life and you will be entertained as well.

So we went with the kids, the idea seems fun, the pictures online look promising but in reality its a progression of about 12 rooms with different colors and lights and they pump you up with sugar in each one so you can mistake the sugar rush with a positive feel good experience. In reality its mediocre.

It was clever, well organized with excellent staff. Great for kids, tweens and those seeking a unique Instagram moment. Not terribly inspiring for adults other than perhaps contemplating the creative process.
