Colorful (literally) interactive art experience that makes you feel happy. Every room offers a new perspective on color; some offer taste (macarons, ice cream), others touch (balloons, ball pit) and others an opportunity to participate (dancing, determining the color that represents you). Best of all is just seeing all the colors everywhere, floor to ceiling, still and in motion.

We purchased the tickets through the new york pass, with no reservation needed and they wouldn't let us in, because they were sold out. There is no way to do online reservation, you need to come here and check for the availability for yourself. Worst experience ever !!!!

On our last day in NYC we decided to use our New York Pass for the Color Factory. We heard it was busy so we arrived there when it opened and there was already a line to get in and a sign that said "SOLD OUT. Ticket holders only" so they turned us down at first. We stood outside for a while trying to figure out what to do next and then a staff member came out and let us in which is so nice! But we just got lucky so make sure you book tickets in advance instead of just showing up like we did just to be safe. Before we entered we picked a mochi ice cream from the My Mo Cart at the entrance. These are just DELICIOUS so don't miss out on them (and if your mochi ice cream is too frozen and hard, just wait for it to soften a bit and it'll be perfect) After the safety briefing we headed into the exhibit. We were kind of rushed through the first 2 rooms which is a bit annoying because we didn't get a turn to take photos but the rest of the exhibit we could do at our own pace which was nice. You're given a QR code card to scan throughout the exhibit to activate the camera for photos. This gets sent to your email as soon as you leave which is so convenient! Only issue we had was a few groups overtook the cameras in the ball pit so we kind of sat in the ball pit waiting for a long time to take our photo. Overall, fun and interactive experience with delicious sweets along the way.
