We snorkeled with the Manatee yesterday. There were so many people and tours and being at the end of the season, were concerned with wouldn't see many manatee. But we were pleasantly surprised! Captain Jill Collins and our guide Dakota were very knowledgeable and we had a great ride out to Kings Bay. We are a family of 4 and a total of 6 is the max on the tour, so thats great! We saw so many manatees, mother and baby...many were swimming right by us and under us. Truly an amazing experience!

Captain Jim is really great at finding manatees, and we swear that Dakota is a manatee whisperer. Many guests love the eco-tour portion of our tour that travels between the Crystal River Archaeological Park and the Crystal River Preserve, and we are glad that you enjoyed it as well. The manatee experts agree that swimming with the manatees is an amazing experience, and that it actually helps in their preservation, because people who love an animal are invested in preserving and protecting them. It was a cool morning which made for a lot of manatee activity. Water guide Haley knows her stuff. Captain Robert made the trip entertaining. Great experience. Great company. Would highly recommend

My husband and I booked a manatee swim tour just at the end of the peak season for manatees in the crystal river area. We were nervous we wouldn’t see any of Jen but our captain (Vince) and our guide (Dakota) our in so much effort to make sure we had the best possible experience and we did indeed swim with a manatee. Vince and Dakota put the needs of the manatees first and foremost while still providing us with an amazing and memorable experience! Highly recommend doing the 7:30am tour tome as it is much less busy! Thank you to Vince and Dakota for making this or most found memory on our vacation!

Kristin, thank you so much for choosing Crystal River Watersports for your manatee tour, and for the lovely review. We are so happy that you enjoyed the trip and that the manatees cooperated. With it being unseasonably warm, we have fewer manatees than normal for March, but our captains are pretty good at knowing where to find our lovely, gentle giants. You are absolutely right that the early morning tours tend to be the best time to visit, and are so happy that you were able to make some wonderful memories with your husband and the manatees.
