The specials on offer where interesting and would definitely go again the other exhibits what very informative mainly the Africa exhibit learning different part of history

fun interactive museum for kids or adults. ancient egypt was by far our favorite exhibit. map was clear and easy to understand, areas for food was nice! lots to see so plan for a couple hours there!

We hadn't been to the museum in about 14 yrs. Our son really wanted to go so for his birthday we decided to surprise him. Either things have really changed or my memory is worse than I thought.😉 East parking lot was closed for construction so you're basically forced to park in the parking garage which is a farther walk, especially for people with any kind of disability. Tickets for the 3 of us were $129, all access passes...unless you plan to spend all day there, that pass is really unnecessary. There's plenty to see without seeing the temporary exhibits. The 3D movie (We saw the story of Sue), though cool, is only 20 minutes. It's a nice little break from all the walking though. The lower level restaurant was closed without any signage so we had to rearrange our plans & go back upstairs to the other restaurant. The food & drink prices are beyond ridiculous. Seriously $14 for a tasteless burger (no fries included), $5.50 for a bottled water, $4 for a small bag of chips?! Like I said ridiculous!! Almost $80 for 3 people to eat lunch, unenjoyable. The place is immaculately clean. The employees are friendly. There's lots of benches throughout to rest. It's an interesting place & our son had a great time...so even though I found it a big waste, we'll chalk it up to a win.😂
