When my daughter told me that she wanted to experience the Everglades for her special birthday trip, I knew that I would have to find a one of a kind experience for her. After doing a lot of research online, we booked with Garl, and boy, was that the best decision ever! This tour is the most authentic experience you will have. Garl has a wealth of knowledge about every inch of the vast Everglades and that makes this many steps completely above any other tour. Our slogging hike brought us right into the alligator hole, which was breathtaking. Unless you have seen it, you can not even describe how amazing it is to see. On our kayak, we had the pleasure of seeing a gator carcass that had been ripped apart and partially eaten by an enormous croc. And THEN, we got to see that croc! WOW!!!!! It was like something you would see in a movie...enormous, terrifying but absolutely amazing! We also had the pleasure of seeing Manatees swimming in the bay - so playful, so adorable and awesome to see them in their natural element. My daughter had her birthday wish come true and we plan on bringing the rest of the family down to experience this excursion again so we can see the Everglades during a different season of the year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour - you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much, Garl, for making this adventure something we will remember forever!

Garl lives to show people the Everglades. From leaving key largo at 9am to returning at 10pm, Garl's enthusiasm never stops. Walk through knee deep water to enjoy the flora and fauna and enter the magic quiet of a cypress hammock then go kayaking with crocodiles and alligators. Incredibly good value for money.

If you are a hardcore outdoor type of person, this trip is for you. The trip involved some hiking in the water areas at Everglades then kayaking out in the Everglades. We didn't do the ocean kayaking due to weather not cooperating, otherwise we'll be exhausted. You must be fit and have good health conditions to take this trip. The tour guide was very knowledgable of the areas. It's a 1/2 day trip so make sure you bring plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen.
