We had a wonderful day in New York on foot, metro and ferry. Yes, it is a walking tour, and our guide, Rob, made it exceptional. Our group was small and we were able to make new friends along the way.
We started with a few sites near Times Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center. Our next stop was over to Grand Central Station with a subway ride downtown to the Staten Island Ferry. We took an over and back trip to the island and then returned to Pearl street for lunch on our own with a variety of dining options on Stone street. After we walked the financial district, 911 memorial, and finished with a trip to the top of the One World Observatory.
Rob gave us a great mix of the city’s history and included us in the conversation! Definitely worth the experience and good way to see the City at street level.
