The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

Please ensure 1 person per group wait in line for ticket exchange. Face masks will be highly recommended. Social distancing will be practiced on train platform and on the train. Seating on board the train will be limited to maximize social distancing, and guests will be asked to promptly take their seat keeping aisles clear and to remain seated except to use restrooms.

6 of us vacationing in Scottsdale drove to Williams and took the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon. We purchased first class seats and it was well worth it. We had ver comfortable seating. Our ticket included coffee, juice, soft drinks , a morning snack box and a afternoon snack box. Alcoholic beverages were available for purchase and a snack car was available. Our car, the Arizona was attended by Christina. Christina was fantastic, full of personality and knowledge. Not only did we have a relaxing ride to the Canyon we saw quite a bit of wildlife. Of course, the Grand Canyon is a sight to behold. I highly recommend taking the train for a great experience.

The Grand Canyon is not to be missed and a train ride is always fun. We chose first class with the nicer seats and snacks included. The snacks were a cut above what you might expect with yogurt, a cheese stick, and a delicious muffin in the morning; beef stick, chips, trail mix and Oreos in the afternoon. Mackenzie was a terrific attendant and the singing cowboys provided nice entertainment. The “outlaw attack” on the return trip was cheesy as expected, but fun. That being said, I was anticipating better views of scenery. What we saw from the train was no better (and frequently not as spectacular) as what we saw from our car. So if you are willing to pay a high price for a nice train ride, this is for you. If you are expecting views of the canyon, you will be disappointed.

We loved our time on the Bright Angel car with Cameron as we traveled to the breathtaking South Rim of Grand Canyon. We were able to order beverages and enjoyed snacks along he way as well. Cameron was humorous and knowledgeable of the route and history of Williams, AZ. The Grand Canyon Railway Train was definitely a memorable experience that we’d book again!
