Such a blast! Mike came recommended to us by a friend of ours, and we would 100% go with him again next time we come to Alaska! He was so patient with us and really took time to explain the river and the fish we were searching for. It is also clear he has such an appreciation for the land and each fish that we caught and released. We were shocked at how much time we spent on the water- from 6am to last 2pm! Highly recommend

If you are looking for a fresh water fishing trip I 1000% recommend fishing with Mike! He was absolutely amazing with our daughters! He is so down to earth, respectful of the fish and wildlife and knows what he is doing! We watched other guides standing back and not really actively participating. Mike was in the water with us the entire time helping and encouraging us. And wouldn't you know, WE were the ones catching all the fish! If your kids are wanting to fish, this is your guy! Even if you don't, you'll have a memorable trip with Mike! Hands down the most memorable part of our entire trip!

Our favorite adventure from our trip was fishing for salmon! We weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money going with a guide service because we thought eh we know how to fish we can just rent some gear and go but no this was a whole different world of fishing! Having a guide was WELL worth it! We learned so much our guide Mike was awesome! He was super friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, we were able to see lots of bears! I was also impressed how patient he was with my kids,it was the best day ever for my 12 year old. If your in Cooper Landing definitely check out Alaska Angling Adventures.
