Come join us snorkeling some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many possible reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different locations on the reef. Each stop is determined by the captain based on the day's conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific site. We also offer scuba diving on our trips.

In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

Awesome crew. Soooo much fun. Swam with sea turtles, small fish, big fish.. we even got to see Jesus. What experience. Captain Brad was hilarious. He kept us all in stitches the entire time. Captain karaoke Katie drove the boat did a great job and had the best music ever. . Would do it again and I highly recommend everybody ask for captain Katie and captain Brad..

Pirates Cove truly offers a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences! From start to finish, our two-dive snorkel adventure exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the incredible captains, Caiti and H. These two are the dynamic duo of the sea—funny, animated, and exceptionally attentive to every detail, especially when it came to ensuring the kids had a blast. Their energy and humor kept the group engaged and smiling the entire time. A special shoutout to Captain H, who went above and beyond when I accidentally dropped my snorkel—he didn’t hesitate for a second before jumping in to retrieve it. That level of attentiveness and care is rare and so appreciated. Captain Caiti was equally amazing, providing fascinating insights about the marine life we encountered and making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The snorkeling spots were nothing short of magical. We were treated to vibrant views of parrotfish, barracuda, and a whole host of other marine wonders. It was like swimming through a living aquarium. The captains’ expertise and enthusiasm made every moment on the water even more special. Whether you’re a seasoned snorkeler or a first-timer, Pirates Cove is an absolute must. It was great. Had a good time and the crew was very helpful! The trip was well planned and the gear provided was perfect. The snorkeling spots were very nice and overall would definitely recommend this for first time snorkeling experience. The price for the trip was reasonable.
