A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

Probably the best day of our three week holiday. Captain Caitlin, and First Mate Hannah were amazing - they made the day, well, them and the whales, dolphins and sword fish we saw. Zodiac option is great, fast and so close to the marine life. Such a knowledgable team we learnt all about all about the wildlife, how they’re being looked after in California but also how whales are still under threat in places like Norway and Japan 😤. Do yourself a favour and skip SeaWorld’s cages in favour of the real deal, on the open ocean. Only piece of constructive feedback would be to have a phone with WhatsApp, to help people coming from abroad without a local number - this would make booking slightly easier by offering the chance to text and ask Qs.

I absolutely recommend this! Captain Marie was fantastic. We saw blue whales! OMG, only 1% of humans will ever see these magnificent mammals. We are visiting Dana Point, and were just looking for something to do. We hit the jackpot.
