A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

Absolutely the BEST whale watching I have done in my life. We saw 6 fin whales, 20+ dolphins, and 2 gray whales all within 2 miles from the coast. The first mate was experienced in bio marine life and I learned a lot about whales. Such nice people and I plan to go again when I visit Laguna. Thank you to the captain and first mate for an amazing experience!!! I’ll never forget it!!

A wonderful morning of whale watching at sea! We chartered a boat for a private tour because we wanted to bring our dog. Captain Caitlin was very knowledgeable and a true whale whisperer! She seemed to know which direction the whales were headed and steered our boat so that we didn’t disturb the marine life but somehow got up close to it. It was an exciting trip full of whales, dolphins, birds and even a stray sea lion! Thank you Caitlin and Captain Dave’s for our whale safari adventure.

Such a fun trip! Captain Marie and our first mate Molly were excellent. The speed boat was a blast and got us around quickly, we loved that we were able to check out lots of different spots. It was definitely a high speed adventurous ride, so keep that in mind. Molly was full of awesome information and it was fun to learn about the wildlife along the way. Spotted two fin whales!!
