First off, we were running late for the 15 minute prior check-in (I-17 always has traffic), so I called ahead to let them know. Not only did they tell me the best place to find a parking spot on a busy weekend (at the stop sign in town, go right, keep straight past the firehouse to the mine at the top of the hill, there is parking and a shuttle bus), they also came and picked us up. On top of that, they upgraded us from the walking tour to fit us in with the 2 hr bus/walking tour.
For the tour they gave us an Electo-magnetic field detector (to find the ghosts) and an electronic voice phenomenon device (basically a white noice speaker, to hear the ghosts). My son, who has been diagnosed with autism, loved it (and I write this because it’s hard for families with special needs children to determine if it’s a good fit, from most reviews) Our tour guide, Brandon, was very friendly and patient with my son, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the history and stories from Jerome. The tour took us through the city and pointed out key locations with back stories, and we stopped at the old mine, graveyard, and schoolhouse.
I definitely recommend the tour and plan on taking one of the longer tours in the future.
