This tour starts by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. At Waimea town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. On the way back down, listen to a historical tale about the Kalalau Valley. Lunch. Then to the south side for Spouting Horn and Poipu Beach where we will be on the lookout for turtles and the Hawaiian monk seals.

We had such a great day with Noah! He took us to the best spots for photos (and took awesome family photos for us, too!). We hiked on what seemed like a hidden path along the beautiful coast and even stopped for a quick dip in the ocean. Noah shared some Hawaiian history with us and gave us great tips for the rest of our stay. If you’re looking for an outstanding and personalized experience, Noah is your guy!

Noah was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, warm and accomodating. A former teacher at a charter school on Kauai, Noah has a vast knowledge of Hawaiian history, geography and horticulture. He knew great places to stop for pics, to eat lunch and even stopped so we could do a liittle shopping before dropping us at the hotel. I read a lot of positive reviews about Noah when we were originally going to take this trip back in 2020 and was glad to see he’s still doing these tours now. Having Noah as our guide on our first day in Kauai got our vacation off to a great start.
