Our meeting time of 8:30 is the optimal time as we are one of the first to get on and usually get back before the strong afternoon winds pick up. Kayaking on lake Yellowstone on a old volcano is truly one of the top five things to do while in the park. With our small group tours we are able to personalize the tour and really show our guests this place in a unique way. All of our kayaks have a rudders which is very important on windy days and is a great way to steer with ease. Our naturalist guides/level 3 ACA certified trip leaders are in the top of their field and have years of experience, this helps when talking about Yellowstone as a naturalist and safety as a seasoned guide. Kayaking past the west thumb geyser and Potts geyser basin is a truly special way see this area of Yellowstone lakes thermal features, With our fast and stable kayaks we are able to cover more ground safety to optimize guests overall experience

Our kayak trip was absolutely amazing! We travel quite a bit and Use ViaTours all the time and wouldn’t have it any other way because the quality of your trip and your excursions is certainly determined by the quality of your tour guides. Quintin is a keeper! He is courteous sociable Knowledgeable about the region the history, the wildlife and much more. Our trip was not only fun and athletic, but it was very very informative. His personality and demeanor combined with his knowledge of the region and details about the park made this most enjoyable trip! thank you Quintin! I hope we see you again soon.

Phil was great! Low key, safety conscious, and knowledgeable about the area. A storm blew in quickly and Phil responded appropriately. Got us off the water safely. The owner (Allie) checked with us before AND after the trip. Thoughtful and kind. Although it did not turn out as we hoped, there is nothing you can do about the weather! We appreciated how supportive Phil and Allie were to our group!

Ted was an excellent guide, We spent about 3 hours on the kayak, got a different view of the geothermal activities at Yellowstone.
