Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Excellent tour experience. Recommend better signage at tour location…was difficult finding location. Luckily we started out early and had ample time to find the correct location.

This was a awesome tour. Our tour guide Lydell was great. He gave us a camera lesson while we were there. So we could get the best photos. He was very informative! If we go back I will definitely ask for him to be our guide!

Wearing a face mask while in the slot canyon was hot, uncomfortable and unnecessary. Way over priced for an hour walk with 11 other people plus a guide.
