Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

I have lived in Arizona over 40 years and this was my first time visiting. Absolutely incredible experience! Tour guide, Shawh, was fantastic! He taught our group camera tips that I didn’t even know our phones could do. This is a must do experience if visiting AZ.

It was absolutely beautiful!! Make sure to take your pictures with the vivid color setting on your phone. Make les a big difference. Highly recommend Antelope Canyon.

Fantastic photos every step of the way. Older people can take the tour also. I’m 70 and I made it. Guides were friendly and very helpful
