Avoid the crowds of the other "cattle boats" in Kona, and enjoy a small-group manta ray snorkeling experience with a maximum of 12 passengers.

This tour departs from Keahou Harbor in South Kona and enjoys a short 5-minute boat ride to our snorkeling site, Manta Village.

Your Captain and snorkel guide will educate you on Kona's famous manta rays and will discuss our safe and humane approach to engaging with the gentle giants.

After entering the water, you'll hold onto our lightboard, with your feet propped up by floatation devices, as the manta rays perform a graceful ballet beneath you. The manta rays filter feed on plankton that naturally gathers at the surface just before sunset, then accumulates underneath our lights. This is an opportunity to enjoy an evening on the water and watch in amazement as the manta rays glide around and dance for you.

I have to say that this was an AMAZING experience! The whole crew, Lexy, Justin, Sara and Carmella, were fantastic! These guys were very helpful every step of the way, from booking to boarding and everything else. They answered every question that was asked and provided a ton of information about the manta rays. And boy did we see some manta rays! I was astounded by how active they were. By last count there were 15 that were swimming and feeding at our spot! It was truly majestic to watch them as they swept up from the ocean floor, swam up to our board, turned upside down inches away from us and then did it again and again. It was definitely a sight to behold. I can’t thank Lexy, Justin, Sara and Carmelle enough. They made us all feel so comfortable and even told us the names of each manta ray as they swam up to us. What a great experience! I would 100% recommend this company and this crew to anyone. We are excited to be able to be going snorkeling with them in a couple days. Thank you!!!!!

Manta Magic-Night Ray Snorkel was definitely "Magical". This is definitely an experience to remember. The Hawaiian Oceanic crew Captain Justin, Lexy, Sara, and Carmelle were terrific especially for those who were somewhat nervous. Being with a small group helped with that comfort level. Sara was very knowledgeable about the mantas and willingly shared her knowledge. We saw at least ten different manta rays. Got that WOW!! factor with this crew and experience.
