We were blessed with a beautiful day for our float and Jason was an awesome guide! He was entertaining and taught us a lot about the area. Our group wanted to paddle the rapids so he made it happen which made the trip interactive and fun. Highly recommend 10/10

This was a wonderful and unique experience to see the Mendenhall Glacier and the surrounding scenery and wildlife. Our guide Larsen was both fun and funny to hang out with. Just prior to entry into one of the rapids he asked us if we wanted to get wet or take a gentler approach. My two kids who were sitting up front immediately shouted “get wet!”, which he abided and gave us a big splash, which was actually kind of fun. On a more serious note, he also showed us what happened to the area due to the recent devastating flood. It is heartwarming to hear that the Tour company actually stopped operation for a few days to help the locals with cleanup efforts! During our journey we saw a couple of bald eagles flying overhead, some salmons, and a black bear. Funny thing was Larson was just as excited at seeing the bear as we were since apparently that is a pretty rare event, and that was also the first time he has seen a bear down the river this summer. After the trip we had caribou sausages with crackers and salmon spread. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Our guide Jason was AMAZING and the float trip was incredible! Great views of the Mendenhall glacier and surrounding areas. Ages ranged from 40-80’s and we all loved it. We just sat back and let him do all of the work. They supply boots and waders. On a cruise with Princess and booked directly through this company and not the cruise. They guarantee you will meet the time requirements.
