Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.

As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

The staff were so knowledgeable and they were amazing!! They gave time to explore and enjoy our wonderful adventure!! Definitely will be coming back again!!

We spent a great morning on Emma’s boat. With a great view, a lot of laughing and a cooling bath in the Colorado. We also crossed the way of an eagles family. An experience we’ll remember for a long time.

Great trip for families and first time rafting. Shawn was an amazing guide. Definitely recommend doing this during a Moab family trip.
