This was the 1st time in New Orleans and we couldn't have picked a better guide. Ozzy Jr truly loves his town. we loved everything there. We will be back to spend more time there.

First of all they say that the tour will pick you up and drop you off from where you are staying. They didn't.... I called them to confirm the pick up and the man said that I would have to meet them somewhere closer to them.. I called him half an hour before my tour time, when was he going to call me and let me know that they weren't going to pick us up?.. we were on the way and the lady leading the tour called me sounding annoyed that I wasn't at the meet site yet.... I told her I was on the way and she again seemed super annoyed. When we finally got there she was bothered and said that we had to pick up another couple. We finally picked up the other couple and proceeded with the tour. This tour was a complete waste of time!!!! the guide just drove around, and talked in a manner that was somewhat bothersome. we were able to get out of the van once and that was at a park... I asked her about the Katrina part of the tour and she said she showed it to us already.... the only part that she referred to Katrina was a street that she drove down. she was yelling at other drives and honking a lot. her voice was very mono tone and it was not a good time. I was hoping to see more of where Katrina hit and the damage it had caused maybe seeing the neighborhoods and the development that has happened since then but the guide was rude when asked about it. I had a better time exploring the city in a Lyft! I do not recommend this tour at all! if i could get my money back that would be great! I read reviews and they said that this tour was great.... whatever tour guide they had was not the one we had and I was very disappointed that for the cost of the tour they didn't show more or at least have a better guide. she was more interested in the other couples pregnancy then showing us around.

Mrs. Irene, We have a very specific area where we are able to pick-up and drop off our guests. This area includes hundreds of hotels. Every hotel in the French Quarter, Downtown Central Business District and our Arts & Warehouse District we pick-up from and drop off to. We like to provide everyone who’s booking our tour online, a list of hotels they can choose from, that we 100% pick up/drop off to. Whenever booking online with us, whether or not you are staying in our list of hotels provided, we tell everyone very clearly on our confirmation voucher that “you must contact the local provider (Celebration Tours) to verify your exact pick-up time.” We ask that you make it a point to contact us because we pick-up our guests before the tour starts. For example, if you’re taking our 10 AM tour there are hotels we pick up at for 9:40 AM. That’s why it’s great to call us and let us know where you’re staying. This way we can give you a more exact pick-up time. If we didn’t do this then we would have to ask everyone to be in front of their hotel for a window of 30 minutes. We don’t want our guests waiting that long. We want you to be excited and ready to go when we show up! Calling us is best too when you’re staying outside of our list provided. This way we can tell you to meet us at 501 Basin Street or we can tell you we can actually pick you up since you aren’t that far outside of our pick-up area. Hopefully this response helps with the first part of your review. As far as Hurricane Katrina goes we offer a 'City of New Orleans and Katrina Recovery Tour’. Katrina will always be a part of our history so we will continue to talk about her. Just to clarify, this is not a Katrina Devastation Tour. Honestly, seeing devastation today is all together impossible. New Orleans is no longer devastated. Hurricane Katrina happened August 29, 2005 which is over a decade ago. Believe me, there’s remnants of Katrina and there’s definitely areas that could use some recovery, which we show you on this tour. We talk about Katrina and show you neighborhoods that were devastated by the storm but all in all our goal is to show you how resilient we are as a people. Especially since we are, on average, 10ft below sea level here in New Orleans! Mrs. Irene we thank you for your review about our company and our tour. This was a great tour for learning about the history and different areas of New Orleans. I did it on my fourth trip to the city and really got a better feel for it. Wanda was an amazing tour guide and she made it especially fun! Being in a small van was super convenient and helped to make it a personal experience. I would highly recommend it, even if you have been to New Orleans before.
