I brought $49 tour on line. I printed voucher before coming to New Orleans. I waited in lobby from 9:40 am until 11 am. Celebration never came. At 10:30 am I asked desk clerk. I was assured traffic sometimes delayed pick up. At 11 am I asked desk clerk to call Celebration. They said they had been there. I doubt this as I had sat in the window and watched. Celebration did offer a later tour for me but my plane back to Alaska departure did not allow me to accept. Others had a good experience but just lost time and money!

Hey Mr. Jimmy, I would like to apologize for your experience. As you can see this is the first time we have been rated poorly for not picking someone up. Like you mentioned, we did tell you that we showed up to your hotel. That’s because we thought we sent our driver to the right hotel. You were staying at the Renaissance Pere Marquette hotel here in New Orleans, which you correctly input when booking your tour online. Very simply, there are two Renaissance hotels here in New Orleans and we sent your tour guide to the Renaissance Arts hotel. This was clearly the wrong hotel and we apologize - We made a huge mistake. We are sorry for wasting your time. Since this was truly our fault, I’m happy to tell you, you haven’t lost any money, because I just refunded your tour. I hope this makes up for your bad experience. Again, I apologize. Being our first time in NOLA, and there for only three days, we wanted to see as much as we could fit into our schedule, and taking a city tour was on the top of our list. After researching the available tours, we decided on a van, instead of a coach, tour -- more personable and allows for more interaction and question asking. We (six of us) booked a private city tour with Ozzy, Jr. Pickup at our hotel was so convenient. Ozzy, Jr is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We were particularly interested in seeing the areas affected by Katrina -- Ozzy, Jr shared his Katrina experience and knowledge, as well as the recovery efforts to date. Other stops on the tour included City Park (beautiful!), one of the famous cemeteries (fascinating!), and the Garden District (gorgeous!). You also see homes of famous people. Throughout the tour, Ozzy, Jr shares historical facts, tidbits, recommendations and suggestions and answers any questions. All of us really enjoyed Ozzy, Jr and the tour. It's a great way, especially if your short on time, to get to learn about New Orleans.

I went on a tour to see the sights of New Orleans before I headed home. The Pros: The driver, Ozzy Jr. was so nice & made the ride comfortable. We was able to see the sections of 9th ward, and learn how they were hit. The trip to the cemetery, I was glad we didn't get out the car because I feel uncomfortable walking around sacred ground. Driving around the garden district was nice, we saw a lot of homes. The Cons: I know the weather was hot but I wish we was able to get out of the van a little more to take pictures, especially by Lake Pontchartrain. Overall - a nice tour to take.
