My sister and I were visiting NYC for a one-night weekend stay in August (she is 27 and I am 31). We spontaneously booked a ticket on this cruise about 2 hours before the boat left - it was such a beautiful night, we've never sailed on the Hudson (minus the ferry from Weehawkin), and we couldn't resist the free drink at sunset! As with any service you blindly book online, we were unsure of what to expect, but this far surpassed our expectations. The boat was classic and beautiful (the Manhattan), pristinely clean, and very cute decor in the cabin. The staff was very nice and excited about their job. The boat left on time and the loop down to lower manhattan and around under the brooklyn and manhattan bridge and then back toward the Statue of Liberty was perfect. We landed right at the Statue as the sun was setting and as they turned the lights to Lady LIberty on. It was perfect timing. I highly recommend this trip, whether you've lived in NYC for 10 years or if it's your first time. We were honestly impressed with the overall experience and even tipped a little extra:)

My family of 4 took the champagne sunset cruise on Classic Harbor Lines on our last night in NYC. Boat was clean, much smaller group than Circle Line so easy to board, get a seat and see the sites. Service was great. No narration so if you want all the info and history of what you are seeing, this is not the ride for you but if you want to just sit back, see the beauty from inside or outside the boat and enjoy your companions without the hustle and bustle of the larger lines, this is perfect. 1.5 hours is perfect time too. Highly recommend.

I wanted to take my friends to do something special on the last night they were here and we all loved it. I live in NYC and this was something I had never done before. It was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and attentive. I would recommend this to anyone. The trip was an hour and a half and it was the perfect time to watch the sunset. This could be very romantic for a date night, with your family, or even with your girlfriends.
