The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

Fantastic tour! Our guides were amazing and very informative. Plus, we got to be up close and personal with both seals and dolphins!

Unsafe boat guides. Warning if you have an accident you’ll be arrested and sued. Company cares about profit, not the marine eco system .

We assure you, Everyday California stands WITH you and the La Jolla Ocean community in an attempt to keep our shared ecosystem healthy, safe, and protected. We work closely with lifeguards and train our employees meticulously on safety etiquette and protocol. Further, we are aware that summertime gets very busy in La Jolla and collisions can happen. Luckily, La Jolla authorities define and clearly mark open water swim lanes and no kayak zones that we respectfully avoid.
