We had an exciting time fishing with Capt. Mike. His expertise and friendliness made our trip amazing. Before heading out to fish we put crab traps out and then went out to catch our limit of Halibut. We caught 12 Salmon, Cod and Rockfish. On our way in we had our limit of Dungenous Crabs too. It was a great day with beautiful scenery and Mike told us all about Ketchikan and the surrounding areas. If we ever come back we will definitely go out with capt Mike!

My husband and I went on a private charter with Capain Mike. He was so helpful teaching how to fish for halibut. We easily caught our limit as he explained the reason for particular location and halibut habits. He was informative about the area and questions we had all about Alaska. It was so much fun spending time with him. One of the best parts of our trip was this fishing excursion. Thanks so much for a great day Captain Mike. Sincerely, Dave and Susan Ansell

Wow!!! What a phenomenal and professional company! From the moment I reached out to "THE ALASKA CATCH FISHING CHARTERS" and queered about booking a fishing charter for our family, thru the final booking process Captain Mike Fleece couldn't have been more professional! We purchased our fishing licenses off of the web before arriving in Alaska. The morning of our arrival in Ketchikan, we met Captain Mike on the dock right as we got off of our cruise ship. From there, we walked around a small building and started our safety brief to board our charter. In less than fifteen minutes of leaving our ship, we were moving out away from town and well on our way to the most pristine fishing waters with spectacular views. To be honest, six hours went by way too quickly!!! We caught our limit of Halibut and our youngest even brought in a barn door with the help of her Dad. While out in the channel, we were able to see a pod of whales blowing water and breaching, saw dolphins moving in pods, and we even got to watch eagles fishing in the water. On our way back into town, Captain Mike shared a variety of recipes for halibut and then dropped us off right in front of our ship. From there, he took our catches over to have them processed. We received our fish cleanly packaged into one pound fillet portions on the day we requested. His recipes have been amazing!!! What a wonderful experience for our kids!!! We can't wait until we get to go fishing with Captain Mike again!!! Thank you for making our trip a trip of a lifetime!!!
