Capt Mike took my son and I fishing in June. We caught our limit of halibut and rockfish in just over an hour. We also caught a few cod. We then tried to catch King Salmon, but they had not migrated up the rivers yet. Mike was a great guide and knew where the fish would be. Excellent communication before and after the trip, including a hand written thank you note. We highly recommend fishing in Ketchikan with Capt Mike.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children (8 and 5 years old) booked a 4 hour salmon fishing trip as a port excursion during our cruise. Jimmy picked us up right at the dock and we were on the boat in a few short minutes. We caught 6 salmon in the time we were out and everyone had an amazing time. Jimmy even set up the process to ship our fish home to Michigan. I would absolutely recommend The Alaska Catch to anyone looking for a reliable, fun excursion while they are in Ketchikan!

We have 3 teenage boys and visited Ketchikan on a cruise ship. The weather was fantastic when we entered Ketchikan and we decided to fish. We found Mike at the dock. He suggested halibut fishing. It was a perfect day, thanks to Mike. What a great experience for us. We caught our limit of halibut and had a great time. He loves Alaska and is a great fishing and tour guide. His boat was very clean and he is very organized and a great host. Thanks for a great day Mike.
