My brother and I in our 30’s and my son 4 years old decided to fish! Mike met us shortly after we bought our package to fish for halibut! He was kind and welcomed us to Ketchikan and really expressed a passion and excitement to go FISHING! We were taken to a very nice fishing boat on the dock where Mike kindly gave us the rundown on safety and answered all of our questions in a way that was not robotic or rehearsed. In our 3 hours on the boat we caught 7 fish 3 different species. The prize catch was a 30 pound Halibut. Along with cod and rockfish. Mike had extensive knowledge and experience and was a pleasure to converse with, and calm and quiet when we were just enjoying the time on the ocean. I highly recommend him as your fishing guide and wish you all the best luck when you drop a line in! Mike was patient and took the time to explain and make the experience fun for my son, if you have kids I suggest him absolutely. Thank you Mike!

My family had the most epic fishing trip with Captain Mike! My husband and I took our 2 boys and my two nephews (ages: 7,9,9, & 11) and we each caught at least one fish to take home. Captain Mike was very helpful, knowledgeable, and FUN. He picked us up at 7am off the port by our cruise ship and took us immediately to his boat. He had snacks and drinks for us. I would definitely book again with this company. We brought home a totally of 7 salmon fish. Many fish got away while we were reeling them in but it was still exciting! Great trip!

Mike was very knowledgeable and put us on some great fish. Boat was very well equipped clean and comfortable.
