My son was 7 and a half years old with no surfing experience at all. He had a private 2-hour surfing lesson with coach Alika. He was an excellent instructor, very friendly and patient. My son had a "successful" lesson; he had a blast. He couldn't stop talking about his fantastic experience. The service was way beyond expectations. Highly recommend Alika. In addition, the location of the lesson was very convenient, right off Hyatt Regency.

Cannot say enough about what a great experience we had. Friendly and the service was absolute beyond expectations. Had my teenage daughter and son with me and they loved every minute of the experience. Most importantly, they really cared about your experience and were enthusiastic about having us as students. If you want to try surfing, go to their beach walk location - you won’t be disappointed. 5 STARS !!!

James was a magnificent instructor. Had a great time! He was very informative and reassuring. I highly recommend James for private lessons and Big Wave Daves for lessons.
