I am from Denmark and this was not my first time surfing but it was my first surf lesson. Jason at learn to surf taught me the fundamentals I was lacking just surfing on my own. It was really cool they used a go pro video camera to film me surf. I booked two additional lessons after I realized how professional this surf school was. I will definitely be back here for another lesson because Jason was such a great surf instructor.

It had been 10 years since I had last surfed and Jason was great. Understood that the old body does not move the same way anymore. Hope to surf with him again some day. Take a lesson from these guys!!!

If I could give Jason (at Learn To Surf HB) 985 stars, I absolutely would!!!! We are actually locals who discovered him in my search for an instructor who could handle not only children, but two children with extensive disabilities. WOW!!! He's not only taken the challenge with extraordinary grace and patients... But he has taught them both how to surf... A challenge I thought would be impossible (& neither are strong swimmers I might add). Not to mention, he has become an incredible mentor & life long "surf buddy". I trust very few people (especially in the water) with my children & If we could (myself & my kids) we'd spend 7 days a week learning to surf with him!!! I hope that no one, who is interested in learning to surf, misses their opportunity to learn from this guy... You & your child / children would definitely be missing out!
